Ex goodwill employee here's some advice I learned when thrift pants wrap the waist band around your neck if it barely fits go up a size /inch ! Also love the picks
I appreciate this!! But it doesn’t always work 😭 I did the neck thing w the jeans shown at the very beginning of the video and it was supposed to fit my waist perfectly but then the legs wouldn’t go over my thighs lol. It’s a good hack but exercise caution if you’re curvy!
i keep messing up with the neck thing arghh, if it fits perfectly its usually one size bigger for me :(

Okay but people don’t understand that smaller sized girls also need somwere to shop. There are women that can’t fit into larger sizes so then need a store that is small. Like I know that it’s not inclusive but there are lots of plus sized stores, and when their is a store for small sized women, people get mad?
Bruh… every place I go has clothes for small people. Cotton on literally sells a 22” waist size pant!!! Small people are FINE, Brandy Melville is SO unnecessary. I have been many sizes in my life. I’ve been as small as a 24. I NEVER had trouble finding my size in stores!!!!
Okay but that store is made for mostly teens and young adults. I understand but as a petite 16 year old I can never find my size in store, petite girls also need a store to shop at!
@@user-wl2mo1kp3p Brandy Melville fits a size small. Maybe an XS. those sizes are so common everywhere, it doesn’t fit smaller than that. Anyway, they don’t market themselves as being specifically for petite people, so it’s exclusionary. I find it hard to believe that you fit into Brandy Melville but you can’t find your size anywhere.
@@alanafay its just that why is it such a problem that some store just for plus sized girls, but when when it comes to petite girls they can’t have their own store? And also, stores like cotton on and pacsun are mostly the same prices as brandy and the same quality as well, they just have bigger sizes.

Second, the importance of plus-size stores is they provide a product that is typically not available elsewhere. Third, it’s completely different because nobody’s going to envy those who can fit into torrid because of societal fat phobia. Also, my point EXACTLY. if cotton on and pacsun have the exact same quality and sizes, they’re just more inclusive, why can’t you support them instead? You aren’t making any sense. Please watch the UA-cam video “I lost weight to fit into Brandy Melville” to understand why their marketing strategy is working on you.

tummies are both so cute and pretty and it's awesome when people are confident with wearing stuff that shows or highlights their stomach! but I also get that it's hard to always have that much confidence and feel okay with dressing like that because sometimes you just don't feel up to it :)
